As a small independent brand, Dolce Roopa recognised that it needed to communicate their story and ethos through stand out visuals and photography. Together we organised a studio photoshoot and came up with a concept loosely based around the French Riviera. The storytelling imagery created on this shoot was featured in ESTILA Volume 4. and also in Dolce Roopa lookbook. Furthermore, the content is also helpful for social media platforms, in particular Instagram, and Dolce Roopa was able to use the images for leaflets and postcards for trade shows and pop-up events.
Giving the shoot its own take on the French Riviera, we wanted to communicate how versatile silk scarves can be (as accessories) when creativity comes to play. Through styling, we created several looks to highlight the layering of the fabric, using scarves as belts, headbands, wrapped around wrist instead of bracelets and accessorising handbags. Other small independent brands (Made by Wave and Harry Rocks London) were brought onboard to help with the storytelling.
